The Division of City Schools, as an arm of the Department of Education, is tasked with the delivery of basic education services to public elementary and secondary schools in Quezon City. It is committed to the provision of Quality Basic Education particularly to depressed, deprived and underserved communities, with a view towards producing morally upright, healthy, economically self-sufficient and peace-loving citizens responsive to the needs of their respective communities and of the country.

· Supervision of the administration of private schools

 

Requirements for Availing of These Services

 

For Pupils/Students

o For Grade 1: Birth/Baptismal Certificate

o For the next higher levels: Report Card

o For Transferees: Certificate of Good Moral Character

o Birth Certificate

 

For Teaching or Non-teaching Positions

o Must be a Filipino citizen

o Must be a resident of Quezon City

o Must have Civil Service eligibility

o Must pass the qualification standards

o Must comply with the minimum requirements for the position

o Must be physically, emotionally and mentally fit

o Must pass the medical examination
