Our Team will contribute to this vision by strengthening and ensuring the sustainable growth of MSMEs and Cooperatives in Quezon City. We will achieve this by facilitating livelihood skills training. developing business & entrepreneurial capabilities and providing development services, including access to financing, to facilitate their economic activities. We commit to deliver quality services to our clients in cooperation with various partners and in the spirit of respect, honesty and accountability. SERVICE AREAS Client Development Services Develop capabilities of MSMEs and Cooperatives to support their economic activities by (a) building awareness; (b) developing appropriate skills’ and (c) enskilling cooperatives and similar groups. Business Development Services Facilitate the build up of appropriate resources of MSMEs and Cooperatives through access to financial services, product development, market information and marketing opportunities. Planning and Programming Ensure that the enabling environment supports the sustainable growth of MSMEs and Cooperatives by (a) building up and maintaining required databases and networks of partners’ (b) monitoring and evaluating program and services for efficiencies and effectiveness; and (c) developing appropriate policy-recommendations and plans. Belir CENTERPIECE PROGRAMS Puhunang Pangkabuhayan ng Sikap Buhay (PPSB) The original livelihood development program that is primarily for barangay-based microenterprises in the informal sector. Its goal is to facilitate access to low interest collateral-free micro-financing for business expansion from six (6) partner-financing institutions. Basic Livelihood and business/entrepreneurial skills training is also provided. more details... HUSAY MAG-BUSINESS SA SIKAP BUHAY (HMBSB) A new business development program for micro, small and medium enterprises in the formal sector. Its goal is to facilitate the build-up of appropriate business resources for sustainable business growth. Services include: a) intermediate level livelihood and business/entrepreneurial skills training; b) access to collateralized financing through partner-institutions; c) product and productivity enhancement; d) access to markets and product promotion; and e) business coaching. more details... YOUTH-IN-BUSINESS (YOUTHBIZ) A pilot program for in-school and out-school/in-community youth ages 15-24. Its goal is to inculcate the entrepreneurial mind-set in our city’s youth. Activities include: a) recognition of “Youth Entrepreneurs”; b) basic livelihood and entrepreneurial skills training; and c) establishment of Business Incubation Center.
