The secretary to the mayor, functions primarily as the City Mayor's arm in the implementation of the City's projects and various services.
He recommends and endorses infrastructure projects for prioritization to the Infrastructure Committee to which the Secretary to the Mayor heads.
He handles medical services of the Honorable Mayor in coordination with Barangay Operations Center (BOC) and the Social Services Development Department (SSDD).
He also acts as the City Mayor's political arm, handles community mortgage programs (CMP) of the City in coordination with the UPAO, PCUP and HUDCC.
He may be tasked, as well by the City Mayor to attend to all functions and duties as may be assigned.
