The Organization of the City Treasury is based on the normal staffing pattern of most local government agencies and departments. The business function and authority of the City Treasurer to collect and disburse government funds require personnel support to comply with the provisions of the law. This Office also deals with managing of all personnel, its mobilization, logistics and coordination relative to the operations of the entire department; handles matters pertaining to all official communications of the whole Treasury Department including branch and extension offices; requisitions, procurement, safekeeping of supplies and materials, accountable form, equipment inventory and disposal of the same; responsible for all revenue receipts and disbursements of the City Government; sends demand letters/notices to all delinquent realty and business taxpayers in Quezon City; bills and collects all real property and business taxpayers within Quezon City; checks the accuracy of weights and measures in market places from time to time; conducts examination of financial records to determine the correctness of taxes being paid by business taxpayers within Quezon City and the collection of deficiency taxes, if any.
