Best Performing QC Barangays Honored in 5th Barangay Seal of Good Housekeeping Award

Quezon City barangays were recognized for their best practices and achievements in governance during the 5th Barangay Seal of Good Housekeeping (BSGH) Award held at Novotel Araneta last June 10, 2019.

DILG Assistant Secretary for Barangay Affairs Rosque Calacat, the keynote speaker, commended barangay officials for their cooperation and diligence in dealing with barangay affairs.  DILG QC director Atty. Ana Lyn Baltazar-Cortez stressed the importance of the BSGH award and commended the City Government for initiating the program, which is the local version of the DILG Seal of Good Governance.

The QC Barangay Seal of Good Housekeeping aims to promote best performance, accountability, transparency and participation among the city’s 142 barangays. The Seal measures barangay or grass root level performance in relation to the implementation of peace and order, fiscal management, best practices, and delivery of public services.
